The Chenini Formation is a geological formation in Tunisia whose strata date back to the Albian stage of the Cretaceous period. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.〔Weishampel, David B; et al. (2004). "Dinosaur distribution (Early Cretaceous, Africa)." The most famous dinosaur discoveries made here include Carcharodontosaurus, Ouranosaurus and Spinosaurus. * ''Carcharodontosaurus saharicus''〔 * ''Spinosaurus'' cf.
